The Red Dragons striker has requested entrance passes for Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’, with said tickets becoming increasingly difficult and costly to acquire. Mullin could have posed the question to Reynolds – as his wife Blake is close friends with the pop superstar – but the prolific striker has been looking to use Ker as a middle man.

Ker, who is executive director at SToK Racecourse, has told the podcast of Mullin’s more annoying traits: “He does occasionally text me things like ‘can you get me Taylor Swift tickets?’ I’m like ‘no, how would I get you Taylor Swift tickets? Try Ryan, his wife is best friends with her!’ And he’s like ‘I don’t want to ask him’. I’m like ‘well, do you want me to ask? You want me to go cap in hand asking for Taylor Swift tickets from Ryan? No, do it yourself!’”

THE BIGGER PICTURE

While having to field the odd non-football related request from Mullin, Ker – like Reynolds – enjoys a close relationship with Wrexham’s star frontman. He added on that bond and how he can be annoying himself at times: “Mulls and I get on very well, actually. He and I are close pals. You only need to look at page 134 of his wonderful book ‘Paul Mullin: My Wrexham Story’ to see his assessment of me – which I come out of rather well. What he doesn’t really like is that I try and do a Liverpool accent for his benefit. I don’t think he cares for that very much.”

Mullin has been a revelation for Wrexham since joining the club in 2021 – a few months after Reynolds and fellow co-chairman Rob McElhenney completed their stunning takeover – with the 29-year-old forward hitting 88 goals for the Red Dragons while pushing them into contention for back-to-back promotions.
