Pellistri looked set to move to Granada on loan but has seen talks over a temporary transfer stall because the Spanish side are struggling to afford his salary, according to the . The 22-year-old has also attracted interest from a number of other clubs across Europe, including PSV and Roma, but manager Erik ten Hag is also worried about losing the winger having already seen Jadon Sancho move on loan to Borussia Dortmund and teenager Omari Forson refuse to sign a new contract.

It remains to be seen now if Pellistri will be granted a move before the January window closes. The winger has struggled for minutes this season and has only made one Premier League start for the Red Devils. Pellistri has already been loaned out since joining from Penarol in 2020, taking in two spells in La Liga with Alaves.
